Mahusai Global Partners delivered a unified business intelligence platform for The Net Return, transforming fragmented e-commerce data into actionable insights and enabling precise profitability tracking at the order level.

Challenge

The Net Return, the premier provider of golf and multisport practice nets and accessories—trusted by professionals like Bryson DeChambeau—was facing a significant data challenge:

  • Fragmented Data Sources: Critical data lived in disconnected systems, including Shopify, QuickBooks, HubSpot, WASP (inventory), Google Analytics, Google Sheets, and Social Snowball.
  • Incomplete Reporting: Existing reports could not provide a holistic view of sales, inventory, customer behavior, or affiliate performance.
  • Profitability Blind Spots: Calculating true net contribution margin—profit after all direct costs—was difficult because of hidden and dispersed costs like import/export duties, shipping, settlement fees, commissions, and advertising spend.

The leadership team needed a centralized, accurate, and timely way to see the whole picture, from top-line sales to granular order-line profitability.

Solution

Mahusai Global Partners architected and implemented a modern data and analytics solution that provided a single source of truth across all business functions:

  • Data Integration & ETL: Leveraged Hevo to pull data from all key systems—Shopify, QuickBooks, HubSpot, WASP, UPS (shipping), SnowBall (affiliate marketing), and Google Analytics—into one pipeline.
  • Data Warehouse: Built a scalable AWS Redshift warehouse capable of handling large, multi-source datasets efficiently.
  • Interactive Dashboards: Designed AWS QuickSight dashboards for sales performance, product analysis, customer behavior, inventory, affiliate marketing, financials, and returns.
  • Security & Governance: Applied role-based access controls, encryption, and AWS security best practices to protect sensitive data.
  • Enablement: Provided user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure adoption and scalability.
